Today was an interesting day. It started with my usual 10am lesson, but I was surprised to find out the horse I was riding was not going to be one of the usual ones. How common is it for your trainer who has helped you to find a horse, to charge a commission? My trainer, who has willingly driven with me hours each way and all the way to Canada to check out multiple horses, charges a 10% commission. I just have some general questions about gelding and mare herds.
